Tokyo Shokudo - Tampines Mall
Casual Dining · Halal certified · Singapore City, Singapore
Cuisines: Japanese
The Tampines Mall outlet holds a special place in the Tokyo Shokudo story - it was the restaurant's early flagship that helped establish the brand's reputation in Singapore and introduced halal tendon to the local Muslim community for the first time. Located on the fourth floor of Tampines Mall in the heart of Singapore's largest eastern residential town, the outlet has accumulated a loyal following over the years, drawing families, office workers from the Tampines business hub, and shoppers who have made it a regular part of their dining rotation.
The menu at this outlet is the full Tokyo Shokudo repertoire in its most complete expression - the Signature Tendon developed by Chef Akimitsu Tanihara, four ramen soup bases with a comprehensive range of proteins, Tsukemen, Toji sets, Gyudon, and sides including Chicken Gyoza, Fried Chicken Salad, and Mixed Tempura. The Chicken Cha Shu Black Mayu Ramen and Beef Suki Ramen (sukiyaki-style beef in ramen broth) are standout dishes. The Ebi Tempura Udon - another popular format - is available here, and the restaurant's Asakusa Tendon has been noted specifically as a signature dish worth travelling across the island for. Operating hours run until 10pm daily, making it a practical dinner destination even for later evening outings.
