Kedai Kopi @ 108 Ang Mo Kio
Foodcourt · Singapore City, Singapore
Cuisines: Asian, Western
Kedai Kopi at Blk 108 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4 is a modern, Muslim-friendly coffeeshop concept by the Tenderfresh Group — the same team behind the popular Tenderbest fried chicken brand. Opened in May 2022, it took over the premises of an old coffeeshop and transformed it into a contemporary halal food destination in the heart of the Ang Mo Kio residential estate, just a short walk from Exit 5 of Mayflower MRT Station on the Thomson-East Coast Line.
Spanning over 4,000 square feet and seating around 156 diners, the space is bright, clean, and refreshingly well-ventilated — notable for its 100 ceiling fans that keep the open coffeeshop environment comfortably cool. One of its standout features is an in-house musollah (prayer room) complete with an ablution corner, making it one of the most thoughtfully catered Muslim-friendly coffeeshops in Singapore.
What sets Kedai Kopi apart from a typical neighbourhood coffeeshop is the diversity and quality of its stall operators, all of whom are required to be either Muslim-owned or halal-certified. Regular Kedai Kopi fixtures include Tenderbest for Western fare like their signature fried and roasted spring chicken, Mee Bagus for halal-style bak chor mee, Toko Ngopi for creative drinks like Bandung Grenade, Pasta Pizza for hand-stretched thin-crust pizzas, and Hawkerman Street Kitchen, known for its hearty hawker classics including laksa, kway teow, and coin carrot cake. Other stalls at this location include Bossku Nasi Padang, Sinar Seafood for halal tze char, House of Pepper Rice for Japanese-style sizzling hotplate dishes, and Nenda's Fritters for local fried snacks — giving the coffeeshop a remarkably broad spread that comfortably covers breakfast through late-night supper
